Down the Drain is the leading independent music festival and promotion platform in Scandinavia. Down the Drain owns two of Northern Europe’s leading music festivals, Northside and Tinderbox, each of which attract a passionate fan base of over 30,000 people per day. With carefully curated line ups, gourmet food and beverage options, and design-conscious festival sites, Northside and Tinderbox attract a sophisticated consumer and have established themselves as premier destinations along the European summer festival circuit. Down the Drain is also a minority partner in and co-founder of HAVEN, a three-day music and arts festival based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Through its Copenhagen-based Beatbox Entertainment division, Down the Drain also organizes and promotes over 100 concerts and venue-based shows annually, representing both international and regional artists. Additionally, Down the Drain also operates best in class festival equipment rental and production services and top-rated crowd safety businesses.
In 2006 he was a math and physics teacher that started experimenting with hops, malt and yeast back home in his kitchen in Copenhagen. Today Mikkel Borg Bjergsø exports his micro brewed beer to 40 different countries and is internationally acclaimed as one of the most innovative and cutting edge brewers in the world.
Mikkeller has made collaboration beers with some of the world’s most acknowledged and innovative microbreweries; Three Floyds, Chicago, de Struise, Belgium, Hill Farmstead, Vermount and Anchorage, Alaska and makes house beer for some of the best and most prominent gourmet restaurants in Denmark, such as Noma, Mielcke & Hurtigkarl and Kiin Kiin. Because of Mikkel’s inventive and constant development of Mikkeller he has been called the ‘cult’, ‘rock’n’roll’ and ‘gypsy’-brewer in Danish and international press. Founded in 2008 by Chairman & CEO Bjorn Rebney, Bellator MMA is the largest tournament-based mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion in the world. Based in Newport Beach, California and partnered with industry-leader Viacom, Bellator hosts “The Toughest Tournament in Sports” live and free on the home for MMA, Spike TV.
Bellator includes weight classes from Bantamweight (135 pounds) all the way up to Heavyweight (265 pounds). And, each Bellator tournament in each weight class is conducted over a three month period. Each tournament begins with the quarter final round featuring eight fighters in that respective weight class, moving onto the semi-finals and then the finals.
In 2013, Bellator began broadcasting all its events on the largest and most successful broadcaster in MMA history, Spike TV, with live events airing weekly. The television alliance also includes a reality show featuring Bellator talent, Bellator 360 highlight shows and other programming.

Jesse is Founder and Managing Partner of Orkila Capital. Prior to founding Orkila, Jesse was a Managing Director at Providence Equity Partners, the world’s leading investment firm focused on media, technology and information services.
Jesse is a graduate of the University of Washington and is a native of Seattle, WA.
Taylor is co-founder and Principal of Orkila Capital. Prior to Orkila, Taylor was an associate at Providence Equity Partners, the world’s leading investment firm focused on media, technology and information services.
Taylor is a graduate of Columbia University and is a native of Far Hills, NJ.
Jack is an Associate at Orkila Capital. Prior to Orkila, Jack was an analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch within their Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Jack joined Orkila in October of 2017.
Jack is a graduate of Fordham University and is a native of Hershey, PA.
Donna is Vice President of Finance at Orkila Capital. Prior to Orkila, Donna worked for Lamplighter Financial, LLC an outsourcing firm specializing in accounting and administration for private equity firms, including Orkila. Prior to Lamplighter, Donna was a senior finance officer for several private equity and hedge fund companies. Donna is a graduate of the State University of New York, Albany and is a native of Long Island, NY.
Bob is an entrepreneur and general manager with 25 years of experience in building high performance organizations in rapidly changing and highly competitive environments. Bob’s professional career began at TRW in space technology and information systems business units, and moved quickly into the emerging wireless communications industry in 1985. With a small group of partners, Bob cofounded Western Wireless Corporation (now ALLTEL) and later Voicestream Wireless (Now T-Mobile).
In 2005, Bob founded High Road Sports, Inc., a sports management company that owned and operated Team HTC-Highroad and predecessors, which were the most successful men’s and women’s professional cycling teams in the world from 2008 through 2011. Currently, Bob is a director of World Triathlon Corporation, as well as an advisor for leading private equity firms. He holds Bachelor of Science and MBA degrees from the University of California.
Ben is a technologist with over 15 years of experience implementing cutting-edge technology solutions and products to drive business value. Ben began his career as a software developer and consultant before becoming a technology leader and CTO/CIO for a variety of technology driven businesses – ranging from startup to fortune 500 across publishing, software, web and finance industries.
Ben is a co-founder of AssessIT, a technology management consulting firm that focuses on providing technology assessment, strategy and fractional executive services to the private equity community. Ben is also a technology advisor for multiple private equity firms and is active in helping their portfolio companies improve overall technology strategy and solutions.
Christine has over 25 years of successful financial management. Working with development stage companies through maturity, she is able to develop and implement sound accounting systems and processes working with technology to create seamless financial environments. Most recently she was the CFO of Eco Power Solutions, an emissions control technology firm, which was preceded by her position as Director of Financial operations and Accounting for Meridian Companies, LLC, a leading provider of tax credit equity financing. While at Meridian, she provided financial advice and guidance for over ten different companies and interacted with FINRA and the SEC on a number of related regulatory matters. Before this she was an analyst for Morgan Stanley and International Paper Company as well as an international treasury analyst with EG&G.
